The Angola Idol development commitee has determined that starting this year, Angola Idol will be a smoke free event!

Historically, the chosen finalists sing with a live band, in addition to singing a song in karaoke style. This year, that band is going to be URBAN LEGEND! In the Fort Wayne area Urban Legend has won the title of Best Live R&B Performer 2 years in a row. They have won two “Whammy” awards in that category as voted on by the readers of Whatzup Magazine for 2009 and 2010.

Another "something new" to the contest this year will be the Angola Idol Finals After Party, where we will celebrate the talent that has participated in this year's contest and URBAN LEGEND will get us all moving on the dance floor!

You guessed it - there is ANOTHER something new! Cindy Lammon Photography will be on site during each round of the contest, shooting photos of each of the contestants as they perform. Photos on disk or memory card of each performer will be available to purchase at an extremely affordable price.
